Short answer
How spiritual creators should handle YouTube comments
Spiritual and faith creators need three systems in the comments: a boundaried reply for personal guidance requests that points to private sessions, a fast reply for booking questions, and a moderation rule that holds impersonation scams. Keep guidance replies in approval mode so a person reads every one before it posts.

1. Answer guidance requests with a boundary
You cannot do justice to a reading in a public reply, and trying to drains you within weeks. AI intent matching finds these requests however they are worded, the reply stays a carefully written template, and approval mode lets you swap in a personal reply for a regular you recognize.
Rule 1: AI intent + fixed reply, approval mode
- When
- AI intent: the commenter is sharing a personal situation and asking for a reading, spiritual guidance, healing, or prayer for themselves or someone close to them
- Then
- Reply with a fixed template: “@author Thank you for trusting me with this. I can't do personal readings in the comments, but this is exactly what private sessions are for: example.com/book”
- Mode
- Needs approval: nothing posts until you approve it
2. Answer booking questions fast
Someone ready to book today books with another practitioner tomorrow. The pattern targets booking phrases rather than single words like "reading", which would also match "reading this gave me chills".
Rule 2: Keyword pattern + fixed reply, automatic
- When
- Keyword pattern:
\b(how (do|can) i book|book(ing)? a (reading|session)|private (reading|session)s?|appointment|calendar open)\b - Then
- Reply with a fixed template: “@author You can book a private session at example.com/book. New openings are added each week.”
- Mode
- Runs automatically
3. Reply warmly to gratitude, in the viewer's language
Thank-you comments are most of the volume on a spiritual channel and the easiest to answer well. An AI reply that reflects one specific thing the viewer said, in their language and your register, is how the channels in our case studies keep up at scale.
Rule 3: AI intent + AI reply, approval mode
- When
- AI intent: the commenter is thanking you or sharing how the message helped them, without asking a question
- Then
- Reply with AI, following this instruction: “Reply warmly in one or two sentences in the same language as the comment, reflect one specific thing they said, and close with a short blessing in the style of my past replies”
- Mode
- Needs approval: nothing posts until you approve it
4. Hold impersonation scams
Scammers copy your name and photo and offer fake paid readings to the people who trust you most. Hold their comments before followers reply; holding is reversible, and held comments stay in YouTube Studio's review queue.
Rule 4: Keyword pattern + hold for review, automatic
- When
- Keyword pattern:
\b(whats ?app|telegram|write me|message me|text me)\b|\+\d[\d ]{7,} - Then
- Hold for review (hidden until you approve it in YouTube Studio)
- Mode
- Runs automatically
Tone and guardrails
How replies should sound, and where they stop
Tone
- Warm, consistent and boundaried. Acknowledge the person before any link.
- Use the register your audience knows: the greetings, blessings and terms of endearment you use on camera.
- Never imply a personal reading or a message from spirit in a public reply.
- State in a pinned comment that you never message followers privately or offer readings in replies, so a scammer stands out.
Care and safety notes
- Keep grief, illness and crisis comments in approval mode permanently. Some need a personal reply, some none at all.
- Never promise healing, outcomes or predictions in an automated reply.
- When a comment mentions self-harm or an emergency, answer it yourself and point to local emergency or crisis services.
- Report impersonator accounts to YouTube as you find them. Holding their comments protects viewers but does not remove the account.

Questions spiritual creators ask
Frequently asked questions
Is it appropriate to use automated replies on a spiritual or faith channel?
Yes, if you automate the right things. Booking logistics, thank-you replies and scam defense suit automation; responses to grief, fear or crisis do not, which is why guidance rules run in approval mode where a person reviews every reply before it posts. Automation buys back the hours for the comments that need you.
How do I stop fake accounts impersonating me in my YouTube comments?
Report each impersonator to YouTube, hold comments that mention WhatsApp, Telegram or phone numbers before followers see them, and pin a comment on every video saying you never offer readings or message followers privately. Scam networks return to popular videos quickly, so the hold rule needs to run all the time.
Should I reply publicly when someone shares grief in a comment?
Acknowledge publicly, go deeper privately. A brief, warm public reply shows them and everyone reading that they were heard. Anything more belongs in a session, a prayer request flow or a community space. A boundaried template that you review in approval mode keeps the acknowledgment consistent on busy days.
Can CommentShark reply in Spanish or other languages?
Yes. AI intent matching reads comments across 100+ languages, and an AI-generated reply can follow an instruction to answer in the commenter's language. For fixed templates, write the template in the language your audience uses, or run one rule per language.
How do I invite people to book without selling to someone in pain?
Separate the two intents. Someone asking how to book gets a direct link, because they have already decided. Someone sharing pain gets acknowledgment first and an invitation framed as the place where you can give them real attention. Write that template once, carefully, and let approval mode catch the cases where it is still not right.
